Introduction

Welcome to Curve Text (the “Service”), a browser‑based curved‑text editor. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What the Service Does

Curve Text helps you design text along paths/curves and export images or JSON. Most editing runs locally in your browser. Some optional features (file uploads, newsletter, payments, analytics) may send data to our servers or trusted providers.

Ownership of Your Creations

You own the designs, text, and assets you create or upload using the Service ("User Content"). We do not claim ownership. You grant us a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, worldwide license to process, host, and transmit User Content solely to operate and improve the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate laws or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights
• Upload malicious code, attempt to break or bypass security, or disrupt the Service
• Scrape, bulk‑export, or circumvent usage limits
• Mislead others or use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity

Accounts

Most features do not require an account. If account features are enabled in the future, you must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.

Uploads and Storage

If you choose to upload files, they are transmitted to our storage provider (e.g., S3‑compatible). We may limit size (e.g., up to 10MB) and types (e.g., JPEG/PNG/WebP). We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law. Do not upload assets you do not have the right to use.

Intellectual Property

The Service, its software, documentation, and brand assets are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable IP laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or source code.

Payments

If you purchase subscriptions or credits, you authorize our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) to charge your payment method. We do not store full card details. Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees are non‑refundable; cancel future renewals via your account (if available) or by contacting support.

Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant uninterrupted, secure, or error‑free operation.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “date” above and, when appropriate, additional notice.

Normal Use

Normal use means using the Service for everyday content creation, such as for social media posts, workplace materials, and store operations/marketing. If your primary business is mass icon generation or similar industrial-scale production, this is not considered normal use.

For non-normal use, a fair usage guideline of up to 200 exports per month applies. If you need higher volumes, please contact us for a business or enterprise plan.
